Pulsatile nasal irrigator was originally presented by a US famous ENT doctor, Dr. Murray Grossan, in 1974. He invented original Grossan nasal tip connected to a Water-pik oral irrigator to wash nose. We started to make our 1st generation Sanvic pulsatile nasal irrigator in 2001 by modifying a high quality and hot selling oral irrigator to replace the previous Water-pik + original Grossan nasal tip. Thousands of patients utilized Sanvic pulsatile nasal irrigators in our own ENT clinics every month, so our medical staffs could observe more directly the clinical responses by using pulsatile nasal irrigators from the users than other medical doctors or companies. We developed our new Sanvic pulstile nasal irrigator based on medical professional knowledge and user's viewpoint. New Sanvic pulsatile nasal irrigator, model:SH953 (SH951) Totally designed for pulsatile nasal irrigation with multi-frequencies and water pressure. Slower pulsatile frequency with lower water pressure is recommended for rhinitis with faster mucociliary movement (like allergic rhinitis), faster pulsatile frequency with higher water pressure is  recommended for rhino-sinusitis with slower mucociliary movement( like chronic rhino-sinusitis). Totally designed for nasal irrigation, less powerful than dental irrigator. Multiple frequencies from lower limit to upper limit of normal nasal cilia beat frequencies provide better nasal water SPA than fixed oral irrigator frequency. Designed for the salt water usage to minimize machine damage. More welcomed by clients, especially kids.

1st generation Sanvic pulsatile nasal irrigator, model SH903 (SH901) Use an oral irrigator in one fixed pulsatile frequency, adjustable water pressure. Lower water pressure is recommended for allergic rhinitis, higher water pressure for rhino-sinusitis. Can be used for both oral and nasal irrigation, fixed pulsatile frequency is better for dental irrigation and is faster than the normal nasal mucociliary frequency.

About throat tip: according to our direct observation in our clinics and responses from users, less than 5% of our users found comfortable and benefit from throat irrigator. Many users stop utilizing throat irrigation after trying 1~2 times. However more users want 3 nasal tips in the family. That's why we provide 3 nasal tips instead of throat irrigator tip (but less nasal tip) to best serve our users. We strongly suggest every users in the family should use his/her own nasal tip to prevent probable cross infection. We concern more about your health and benefit, so we only provide what is better for you in the long term. You can purchase Grossan throat irrigator tip ( the model connected to Grossan HydroPulse, not connected to Water-pik) to be connected to our Sanvic pulsatile nasal irrigator to flush your throat if you really want to use the throat irrigation.

About the nasal spray tip: As we mentioned in the topic of "spray and wash", the main purpose of nasal sprayer is to moisturize the nasal membrane instead of cleaning the nasal and sinus chambers. So we highly recommend you to use a small bottle nasal sprayer that is more convenient to carry on, so you can spray  your nose to keep the nasal membrane moisture as often as needed, even every hour. Pulsatile nasal irrigation can provide better cleaning and moisture than nasal spray, so it's useless to add a nasal spray tip to the machine. That's why we provide you what you want and use most often from your viewpoint and benefit. We do not put many accessories that is useless to make our profit only. So we prefer to provide more nasal irrigator tips instead of throat tip and spray tip.
